Graphic Artists dream come true!!

I was just thinking this morning. What does innovation do to you? How do we react to innovation? I, for one, get a smile on my face when I see something innovative. Some of the innovations make us ask the question "Now, why didnt they think of this before?"

Now, here is something Wacom has made, which would revolutionize the work of a Graphic Artist. What I am talking about is the new Wacom Cintiq 12WX Graphic tablet. So how is it different from the rest of the graphic tablets? Well, its also a second display for your computer. So you can now draw on the tablet, and also have the copy of the image (on photoshop for example), right on your screen. Now, this is not evolutionary, this is revolutionary. Some time soon, even I could become an artist (just kidding!!).

And it costs $999, thats roughly around Rs 40,000. Not bad for a second display and graphic tablet bundled as one. In a year or two, we could expect the prices to slash atleast 50%.

Some of my personal favorites are the iPod, Ctrl-Alt-Del, Solitaire. After reading this article, it makes me wonder how we take things for granted. If the hard disk for example, was not as compact as it is today, would we really have personal computing? Think about it...

We would like to wish our Client's, Friend's, Well Wishers a Merry Christmas. We wish that Year 2008 brings you health, wealth and prosperity.

Magic Jack

This is one gizmo that we have been recommending to our clients, friends and colleagues. What is it all about? Well, its one of the most handy and mobile VoIP solution as of now. Its a small USB device, that you plug into your computer's USB port. The other end of the device has a jack to plug in your regular telephone. The other prerequisite is an internet connection, and voila!, you can make unlimited calls to the US and Canada. You also get a US number that people can call you on. You can use this device even when you travel to other cities / countries. All you need is an internet connection, a computer with a USB port, and a regular telephone. Now, all that is fine, but how much does it cost? Well, its just around 20$ for the gizmo and one years subscription. Now, thats not too much is it? You can find the Magic Jack here
